Earlier this week I was invited to go out for breakfast with a few ladies, and with it being so close to Christmas I was wanting to say no. My husband said, 'take time for others, you always have that kind of time'. So I went....when I left, one of them said to me, "you'll have a great day because you came" and we laughed.
So I was kinda waiting to see what this 'great day' would be, and I wondered if I would recognize it. Sort of like the story of Jesus visiting you through various people. I wouldn't want to miss that. I saw it! I really did! I recognized it! Someone came in to purchase some items for families that have nothing. Nothing. Nothing pretty. She wanted them to something pretty. I knew this was my 'good day'. I could be part of her giving. I don't know who they are...but thank you.

Very inspirational! I think a lot of the time we take things like that for granted and fail to recognize that they are blessings sent from God!

I liked your story, as I always try to find the good in everyday. There are always going to be people in need but it’s nice to do something special for them not just the ordinary things.
Today would have been my 48th anniversary and I was feeling a little down as my husband had passed away three years ago. Joyce Weibe who lived in Rosenort but not lives in B.C. called me today. She was the maid of honor at our wedding and while I was talking to her a dozen yellow roses arrived from my daughter in Thunder Bay. I had yellow roses in my bridal bouquet when I got married so they always seem so special. So what might have been a sad day was filled with Joy. Thank heavens for all the angels around. us.
