Road 17 N

I woke up this morning to snow!  It is beautiful, but I think I would rather have rain or sun.  Oh well, we cannot control the weather.  What we can control is the color we live around material wise.  So I thought I should show you this baby quilt.  This was made using a jelly roll and some white Bella solid for sashing.  So fun and quick.  Katie Friesen quilted it for me, which I think makes it look so elegant.  The pattern is by Allison Harris.  She is one of my favorite designers.  So have a wonderful day, I hope this made you morning a bit brighter wherever you are!

MPQ put on a wonderful show in Winnipeg.  People from all over came out.  We were pleased as punch to be part of the merchant mall. Now to get my store back into shape for a busy week! Thanks to all of you who came out! Love serving you!

It is here!  I have been waiting for this collection to arrive for many reasons.  It is beautiful as always, and I have a pattern which is going to work very well to kit with this.  I am working on putting it together today so I can get a picture out to you.  The pattern is created by Myra Harder using this collection.  The patterns that came with the prints are friendly as always.

Janet Clare has designed a collection of wonderful nautical prints.  They make me long for lazy days.  Are you looking to make a quilt for that fisherman in your life?  Or how about a quilt for your cabin?  I think this collection will also be great for that little boy's room.  The book is filled with simple quilts.  And if you want to go with something easy, layer cakes are available.

My hours today are 10:00-1:00. When sucky things happen if life we sometimes have to attend funerals. In honor of a wonderful life, that is what I will be doing this afternoon. Sorry for the inconvenience.
