Shipping pretty stuff...

Just a reminder about shipping fabrics.  I do not have an online store as of right now but ship goods all the time.  If there is a line of fabrics/patterns/fat quarters/pre cuts you are interested in just email me at Road17N@hotmail.com and let me know what it is you are interested in.  Another option is to go to the Moda website and get the numbers off the swatches shown and let me know that way.   Shipping/Handling fees are anything over 4 meters is a flat rate of $15.00.  Under 4 meters/other products may be a different amount for weight and height costs.

Have a wonderful day!  This cute quilt is made with a layer cake. Quick and easy. Ready for the campfire!

Happy Happy Happy colors!

I woke up this morning to snow!  It is beautiful, but I think I would rather have rain or sun.  Oh well, we cannot control the weather.  What we can control is the color we live around material wise.  So I thought I should show you this baby quilt.  This was made using a jelly roll and some white Bella solid for sashing.  So fun and quick.  Katie Friesen quilted it for me, which I think makes it look so elegant.  The pattern is by Allison Harris.  She is one of my favorite designers.  So have a wonderful day, I hope this made you morning a bit brighter wherever you are!

Little boy I know not of....
This quilt is for no one in particular.  I usually have a sense of who I am making something for but not this time.  I was inspired by a customer.  She asked me to pick colors for a quilt she was making for a baby boy.  She showed me the pattern and I was to choose colors.   Months after she was gone I thought to myself, that seemed like a neat pattern to do.  So picking similar colors, I started cutting.  I was really happy I did that because sometimes patterns ask for too much fabric.  I don't like to buy extra and have to do another project when I am done the quilt, just to use up the scraps.  Some scraps I don't mind.  But not so much that I can nearly make another blanket.  So I always encourage people to 'make sense' of the pattern by doing some math and then you will know just how much to buy.  But I love the quilt....and hopefully when I become great Auntie for the first time this March, it will be a BOY!

Little Black Dress 2 nine patch quilt (for me!)

image

We are in the midst of a blizzard in southern Manitoba!  I can hardly see across the  street.  Our temps are going to drop to a -45 wind chill factor yet...and yesterday it was +1 outside.  I have been keeping busy putting some quilts together.  This one is a nine patch pattern using the Little Black Dress  2 collection by Basic Gray for Moda.   I am super pumped about the arrival of these prints in January (crossing my fingers). The pre cuts are going fast already.

Stay warm and safe everyone!
