I just saw it!

image

Earlier this week I was invited to go out for breakfast with a few ladies, and with it being so close to Christmas I was wanting to say no.  My husband said, 'take time for others, you always have that kind of time'.  So I went....when I left, one of them said to me, "you'll have a great day because you came" and we laughed.

So I was kinda waiting to see what this 'great day' would be, and I wondered if I would recognize it.   Sort of like the story of Jesus visiting you through various people.  I wouldn't want to miss that. I saw it!  I really did! I recognized it!  Someone came in to purchase some items for families that have nothing.  Nothing.  Nothing pretty.  She wanted them to something pretty.  I knew this was my 'good day'.  I could be part of her giving. I don't know who they are...but thank you.
It's December!
If you haven't put up your tree yet, now is the time! Do you need stockings? Who wouldn't want to put gifts in these just to feel the soft linings.

Table Runners
Table runners are one if my favorite things to make. I can complete them in a short while and I can be creative with little fabric. Here I used Kate & Birdie's Winters Lane collection. The fabrics are clearing out quickly. I have a few runners made up so you can come in and see them!

Kate & Birdie Bluebird Park Panel
Kate & Birdie Paper Co. Have added a panel in their Bluebird Park collection. It is conveniently placed at 1/2 meter marks. So that means for $7 you get everything you need (fabric wise) to make 4 tags and 8 postcards. Of course the post cards could be used for so many things...frame them, bookmarks, piece them into a quilt, baby size heat bags, endless possibilities. This would be a great idea for kids who are beginner sewers! 20131125-065652.jpg 20131125-065751.jpg
